Community Advisory Group

Community Advisory Group

Directions Health Services is committed to ensuring that clients not only have a voice about the services delivered to them, but are enabled and supported to contribute to the design, development, delivery and evaluation of our services.

The Community Advisory Group (CAG) is comprised of a mix of clients including those with lived experience and family member clients with Directions Health Services, and meets five times per year. The CAG meet to provide consultation and advise to Directions’ Board and Management to ensure that services:

  • Are informed by and responsive to client needs;

  • Are delivered in partnership and support clients to achieve their goals; and

  • Result in improved outcomes for clients, families and the community

CAG members provide input on a wide range of actions including strategic planning, processes and model of care consultation, accreditation participation, recruitment panel participation and consultation to, and participation in, research and other projects.

If you’re interested in joining the CAG, reach out to your local Directions service or program or email us at [email protected].
